Pentaferte SpA is an Italian company that has been operating in markets in Europe and beyond since 1980. The industrial activity of manufacturing medical devices is the DNA of this Italian company which, over the years, has been able to follow and anticipate market developments, in terms of quality standards and demand for safe products for the medical world. The production site in Campli, in the province of Teramo, is among the most important and complete in Europe. The commercial and administrative headquarters in Ferrara manages the timely and efficient distribution of Penta products in all markets, through a network of distributors or directly to public or private hospitals.

Since 1995, a Company Quality System has been in place, and this received its first ISO 9002/EN 46002 certification in 1996 and is certified by TÜV Italia in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNI EN ISO 13485:2004.

The many years spent in hospitals across Europe and the CE certification of its products, issued by TÜV Sud Product Service Munich, ensure a high quality standard. Anyone wishing to find out more about Pentaferte production and culture can visit the production site in Campli (TE).

History

• Pentaferte was founded in Piano Grande di Teramo in 1980.
• Since 1981, the production site has been based in Campli while the business unit based is located in Ferrara.
• In the ’90s Pentaferte, through the Ferinvest Group, participated in designing and constructing numerous plants for the production of medical devices in South America and especially Eastern Europe, thus enhancing its skills and successfully exporting its own brand.
• In 1997, Pentaferte France was founded in Paris, a subsidiary of the Italian headquarters, marking the start of the group’s expansion in Europe.
• In 2009, the group acquired the French company Segap, European leader in medical devices for enteral feeding.
• Today, Pentaferte is the Italian and European market leader in the marketing of medical & enteral devices and the production site in Campli is one of the largest in Europe.
